Welcome to Strengthopedia! My goal when I created this page was to help people find honest and reliable information regarding the best home workouts without having to read endless content that was created to push a product and make a buck, rather than to really offer honest reviews and feedback.
A little bit about myself
I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. I’ve tried countless products and gadgets in the hopes of really getting in shape and getting rid of the extra weight. I am not going to bore you with useless information, but suffice it to say that it wasn’t until I found Beachbody workouts and specifically Insanity workout and also P90X, that I was able to really get a hold of my health and fitness needs.
I wish I could tell you that it was easy and that it was a miracle cure. It wasn’t. I started and completed P90X without losing much weight. As always, I felt discouraged and cheated. BUT, the biggest difference is that I had someone in my corner that had my back. You see, when you purchase a Beachbody workout, you get assigned what is called a coach. A coach’s job is to help you along your fitness journey and answer any questions that you may have. Sometimes, your coach is really a health and fitness professional. Other times, it’s just someone that has had success with the programs and can share his/her experience with you. In my case, the first thing that my coach did was ask about my nutrition. Specifically, if I had followed the diet plan that came with P90X. My answer was NO.
Long story short, I then went on to find my groove, follow the nutrition plan and since then, I’ve lost over 50 pounds and have become a certified P90X trainer and have helped lots of people like my coach helped me.
How to use this page
I’ve created this website in a very simple manner so that you don’t have to waste time reading useless information, or having to check lots of pages in order to find what you need. Basically, I am showing you what Insanity workout is about, then P90X. There’s a very useful table that is going to compare each program side by side and let you know some basics, like: workout length, equipment needed, overall program duration, etc.
I’ve also created a page for one of the best supplements in the market today: Shakeology. As you may know, there’s literally thousands of diet pills, powders, liquids, etc. I’ve tried many of the fat burners, pre and post workout supplements, but the ones that I keep coming back are Shakeology and whey protein. The reason is very simple: they work.
I’ve actually been very successful using a 3 day detox known as the Shakeology Cleanse in order to get rid of stubborn pounds or simply to give myself a break after the holidays or a time of some cheat meals. But don’t think that it’s a miracle product and that you can simply ignore your diet and still lose weight. It doesn’t work like that.
